Bachillerato de Artes
One of the few Arts Baccalaureates (also known as the Artistic Baccalaureate) available in northern Madrid. For students with creative talent who want to pursue Fine Art, Design, Architecture or Audiovisual Communication.

Spanish Bachillerato
or the IB Diploma Programme.
Base offers two separate Bachillerato programmes, each with its own curriculum, teaching staff and timetable. Both lead to Spanish universities: the Spanish Bachillerato through the PAU (the university entrance exams), and the IB Diploma through official recognition as the Spanish Bachiller qualification (Royal Decree 534/2024) plus the UNED accreditation for university entry.
Arts Baccalaureate: where creative talent has an academic future.
We have been authorised to offer the Bachillerato de Artes (also known as the Artistic Baccalaureate), one of the few available in northern Madrid. It is designed for students who know their path runs through creativity, but who also want a solid academic preparation for university.
Artistic drawing, applied technical drawing, design and art projects form the core of a pathway that opens doors to degrees in Fine Art, Graphic Design, Architecture, Audiovisual Communication and higher arts programmes.

We offer a school transport service with routes specific to Bachillerato and general routes for every stage. They cover Madrid city and the main towns of the northern metropolitan area, operated by specialist companies that guarantee safety and punctuality. Families also receive SMS alerts for any incident on the route. Routes and stops may vary depending on demand each school year.

The Bachillerato at Base does not end when a student passes the university entrance exams. Our support begins much earlier: we advise, prepare and accompany every family throughout the whole journey.

Access to universities in Spain and abroad
The American Dual Diploma can be studied at the same time as the Spanish Bachillerato to obtain the US qualification as well. And students who choose the IB Diploma Programme can apply to universities in more than 100 countries.

June exam session. The average score was 7.89 out of 10 and the highest score in the year group, 13.57 out of 14.
The university admission score is calculated out of 14 points: the 10 of the general phase plus up to 4 points from the admission-phase subjects. Figures from the ordinary 2026 exam session.

As well as the Spanish Bachillerato, Base offers the IB Diploma Programme as an alternative pathway. And either one can be combined with the American Dual Diploma, studied in parallel.

With Academica Corporation: two qualifications in one school journey. It is studied online and at the same time as the in-person Bachillerato, whether Spanish or Diploma, from 2.º ESO (Year 8) and over 2, 3 or 4 years.
